Tayyab Hayat - Ambassador

Tayyab Hayat is a 22-year-old semi-professional footballer, presenter, and community leader whose work spans elite sport, media, and social impact. Having developed within professional football academies and competed at Step 2 of the non-league pyramid, Tayyab has built a strong reputation both on and off the pitch.

Internationally, he represented Pakistan at the 6-a-side World Cup, finishing as top scorer for the national team, highlighting his attacking quality and leadership on the global stage.

Beyond playing, Tayyab is deeply committed to creating positive change in his community. He works closely with West Ham United and the West Ham Foundation as a club ambassador, delivering impactful initiatives aimed at tackling knife crime and youth violence across local areas. His contribution to the club and community was recognised in 2024 when he received the prestigious “Spirit of West Ham” Award.

Alongside his community work, Tayyab is employed within education as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Behaviour Manager, working with Key Stage 4 students in a secondary school, where he supports young people both academically and personally.

In the media space, Tayyab is a presenter for Rising Ballers and has worked extensively as a presenter and model at major sporting and commercial events. His portfolio includes collaborations with EA Sports, Nike, adidas, Sports Direct, PlayStation, UEFA, Arsenal, and more. He has also modelled nationwide for Sports Direct.

Tayyab has further partnered with the Premier League on its “No Room For Racism” campaign, working alongside Premier League title winner Wes Morgan, reinforcing his commitment to equality and representation within football.

Wasim Khan MBE (Hon. LLD) is a former cricketer and senior cricket administrator with a strong focus on youth development and grassroots cricket. Closely connected to Pakistan, he has worked to strengthen talent pathways and expand opportunities for young people through the game. Now based in Dubai as General Manager – Cricket at the ICC, he supports global cricket development, using sport as a tool for education, inclusion, and leadership among youth.

Julian Nistor

Community Leader

Julian Nistor BEM is a trailblazing UK‑Romanian leader, serving as the national ambassador for the Romanian community—representing over 80,000 members across the country. In January 2026 he became the first Romanian in the UK to be honoured at Westminster with the British Citizen Medal, recognising his exceptional service to both the Romanian diaspora and British society.

As Ambassador for the West Midlands Crimestoppers Committee, Julian champions crime‑prevention initiatives, fostering trust between law enforcement and local residents. His work bridges cultural divides, promotes social cohesion, and empowers vulnerable groups through outreach, education, and community‑driven projects.

A passionate advocate for integration and mutual respect, Julian continues to drive collaborative efforts that strengthen the fabric of the West Midlands and the wider UK Romanian community.

Alan Edwards

Regional Manager - Crimestoppers

Alan Edwards is the Regional Manager for Crimestoppers UK, a charity dedicated to helping communities stay safe by providing a confidential platform for reporting crime. With a strong background in community engagement and crime campaigning, Alan works closely with local organisations, businesses, and law enforcement partners to empower the public to speak up about criminal activity without fear. Passionate about making a difference, he is committed to building trust and awareness, ensuring that everyone has a voice in keeping their communities safe. We are currently working with the community plaza and chair of our West Midlands Crimestoppers committee Mohammed Zafran, to educate young people about how to report crime safely and anonymously.

Andre’a Accison

Andre’a, has been spreading the Fearless message for over seven years, delivering crime type sessions to over 36,000 young people and facilitating training to over 1,500 professionals in the West Midlands, West Mercia and Warwickshire.
Andre’a has delivered a variety of crime type sessions including county lines knife crime and hate crime, and is passionate about raising the awareness to encourage good decision making, her work aims to empower young people to have a voice in their community.
